This school holidays we are offering free travel and meals to all children passengers travelling in a car from the 9th to the 21st of April. Free kids meals are available with the purchase of an adult meal at the Queenscliff Ferry Terminal Beach Café before or after your trip. So if you are choosing to eat before you travel from Queenscliff make sure you allow enough time before the ferry departs to enjoy the beach views and the great food. Please note conditions apply to “kids travel and eat free”

How to get to/from the ferry?

Queenscliff Ferry Terminal Location

To the ferry from the township of Queenscliff:

As you enter the township on the Bellarine Hwy (B110) the road turns right into King Street and then turns left at the roundabout into Hesse Street, following the blue ferry signs. At the end of Hesse Street, turn right and this road will lead directly to the ferry terminal. Foot passengers will need to find a park either at the Marina car park or next to the Ferry Terminal Beach Café. Passengers can be dropped at the foot passenger drop off point. Foot passengers please allow enough time to park the car and walk to the passenger terminal to purchase tickets.

Cars wishing to purchase and board the ferry need to proceed through the car ticketing window. Please note once inside the car boarding area you cannot leave the complex. You may visit the Ferry Terminal Beach Café.

From the ferry to the township of Queenscliff:

Drive off the ferry and drive through the roundabout at the Marina on to the Bellarine Hwy (B110) following the signs to the town centre. Turn left on Hesse Street, the main street of Queenscliff.

Foot passengers
Pass through the security exit and keep left following the path to the park. Cross over the road, walk past the park, cross over Gellibrand Street, continue to Hesse Street, turn left. You are now the main Street of Queenscliff.

Visitor Information Centre is located on the left hand side of Hesse Street, next to Post Office.

Sorrento Ferry Terminal Location
Sorrento Pier, Sorrento, Victoria

To the ferry from the township of Sorrento:

Drive through the roundabout and down the hill of the main street. As the road veers right, take the first left and follow the road through to the car ticketing window.

Foot passengers
From the Main Street walk down the hill, cross over the roundabout and continuing to walk down the hill. Turn left at the bottom of the hill and follow the road to the ferry foot passenger terminal.

From the ferry to the township of Sorrento:

Drive off the ferry, veer left at the roundabout. At T intersection turn right to go up the hill into the township of Sorrento. Turn left at T – intersection towards Rosebud/Melbourne.

Foot passengers
Pass through security exit gates and follow the path through parkland. At Intersection cross road follow the path up the hill to the township of Sorrento.

Visitor Information Centre is located in the right hand side of the Main Street opposite the Commonwealth Bank.
